We were moved to a twin/double room with 2 double beds and cheap champagne, for instance. Body wash and toothpaste was a plus. The location was ideal, because a subway station was based walk from the hotel...
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor.

I had a great business travel experience at Marriott! The check-in process was quick and efficient. I was pleased with my internally facing room, which provided a peaceful night's sleep. Although the view wasn't spectacular, I could simply take a walk to enjoy the picturesque river scenery. The standard king room was impressive, with modern amenities and plenty of storage space. The breakfast selection was extensive, offering continental, full English, and made-to-order omelettes. Checkout was also smooth and the staff were friendly. The hotel provided free WiFi with reliable coverage.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the DLR station, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, it is situated near the excellent Dockyards museum, offering a fascinating cultural experience. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance, providing plenty of options for dining. Surprisingly, the train station next to the hotel was quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay.
The staff could have been more personable, lacking the warmth and friendliness that the previous reviewer mentioned.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs. It was conveniently situated next to the station, making it easy to travel around the city. Additionally, it was close to a variety of bars and restaurants, providing plenty of options for eating and drinking. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a spacious bathroom and excellent service from the staff. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from.
There was a minor issue with the heating in our room that couldn't be resolved. Despite reporting the problem, it was not fixed and we had to endure a very hot room during our stay.
